baby blanket

Last week I finally casted off on the staggered eyelets baby blanket. I will be offering this as a free Ravelry download in the next couple of weeks. It is really nice as a social knitting project to take with you to knit nights. I want to start another one - everything else I'm knitting takes so much concentration!

Just finished a cabled hat

I just finished an easy cabled hat for my friend Megan. She showed me a hat on a website, and I tried my best to replicate it. It turned out pretty cute I think. Now I just need to make a colored pom pom for the top (and learn how to attach it...) I'll see her on Christmas, so that means I have... 4 1/2 days. Hope she likes it!
